Does your agency have dedicated analysts to support police work, investigations or intelligence efforts? If not, are you doing your own analytical work to do the same but don’t know where to start? Are you currently serving as the agency’s analyst but need new ideas, techniques and resources? Either way, this class is designed for you. Both sworn and non-sworn law enforcement personnel will gain valuable information from this introductory analysis-driven course.

Attendees will learn key fundamentals and definitions of law enforcement analysis, intelligence and the critical role analysts play in law enforcement, security and public safety. Methodologies, sample analytical work products and simple, yet effective, practical techniques will also be discussed, giving attendees the ability to immediately implement newly learned skills with their own agency’s data.
